These Australians, always chugging beers outta their shoes.
I’m not sure how the shoey originated, nor am I really sure what the purpose of it is, but I love when country stars go overseas and give it a go. Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan and more have all participated in the Aussie ritual, but last night in Sydney, Australia, it got a big “HELL NO” from Kacey Musgraves.
It wasn’t long before the crowd started chanting for Musgraves to perform the shoey and Kacey responded with an adamant, “that’s disgusting.”
“I’m not drinking out of your fucking shoe…. You could have athlete’s foot or something.”
While the crowd was disappointed, many on Twitter came to Kacey’s defense.
