As far as country music goes these days, very few are doing what Tyler Childers is doing.

His songwriting genius is undeniable, his vocal tone is incredibly unique, combine that with a commanding delivery and reverence for the sanctity of true country music and you have a budding superstar on a rocket ship to the moon.

He released his first album, Bottles and Bibles all the way back in 2011, two EPs recorded at Red Barn Radio shortly thereafter, and then we were graced with his breakout album, Purgatory, in 2017. And, while that’s an impressive catalog of music on its own, Tyler routinely plays a whole mess of unreleased songs at his live show. Some old, some new, but either way, all of them have us begging for a new album.

Here’s 5 of our favorites:

“Messed Up Kid”

“Bus Route”

“Peace Of Mind”

“Take My Hounds To Heaven”

“Steep Grade”
