Samsung Announces Vertical TV Because “Millennials Want One” (No They Don’t)

Shape

Umm, what?

According to The Verge, Samsung’s new 43-inch Sero TV has a vertical option because Samsung thinks that millennials want a vertical TV.

“Samsung says the Sero is designed to encourage young people to project more of their smartphone stuff onto the TV by allowing it to go vertical.”

The TV can also rotate to be a normal TV so I suppose it eliminates the need to buy two separate TV’s, but nobody asked for this. Millennials don’t need it, don’t want it, can we all just be fucking normal people? It’s too fucking early on a Monday morning for this kind of bullshit to be littering my newsfeed.

Oh, and it’s expected to retail for about $1,600 bucks in South Korea before it hits the market in the United States. Hard pass.
