If you’re coming to Nashville for your bachelorette party, don’t do this.
Nashville is one of the top destinations in the country for bachelor and bachelorette parties these days. You can’t walk down Broadway without seeing groups of girls in matching shirts sipping from penis straws and woo’ing at everybody they pass. It’s obnoxious.
Not as obnoxious as this woman though. According to WKRN, police responded to a woman who threw a barstool at the bartender at Tequila Cowboy. The police report stated that she told officers that she threw the barstool as part of a “dare” from her the rest of her bachelorette party. Yeah, you might need to get new friends if that’s the kind of shit they’re daring you to do.
Obviously the woman was pretty drunk (I would hope that’s not a decision she would make sober) and admitted to taking three whiskey shots. Police said the woman was visibly intoxicated and belligerent, probably because she realized just how badly she had fucked up.
Despite all this, the bartender and the bar told police they didn’t want to prosecute the woman, so she was arrested only on a charge of public intoxication. I can’t blame the bartender for never wanting to see this crazy lady again either.
There’s no word on whether or not this woman was the one celebrating her own bachelorette party, but if she was, her future husband probably has to be questioning this whole marriage right about now. Getting arrested at your bachelorette party for throwing a barstool at the person responsible for serving you drinks has to be a red flag.
Listen, I get wanting to come to Nashville for your bachelor or bachelorette party. But if you do, this is not the way to do it.
