These days I’m not slinging Fireball shots like it did when I was 22, but throw a cinnamon splash in a frozen pineapple margarita and I’m 100% all in. When it’s blistering hot this summer and you need a refreshing way to cool down and drink up, you can fight fire with fire thanks to this brilliant delicious frozen margarita recipe.
Here’s what to do.
Lime wedges, for rimming glasses
2 cups frozen pineapple
14 oz. tequila
8 oz. triple sec
8 oz. lime juice
4 oz. grenadine syrup
4 Fireball mini-bottles
What to do:
1. Rim glasses with limes and then dip in margarita salt. Pour a shot of grenadine into each margarita glass.
2. In a blender, combine frozen pineapple chunks, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Pour into margarita glass.
2. Remove cap from Fireball mini-bottles and dunk into frozen drinks.
