According to Fox 17, a 40-year old Indiana man is suing his parents in Michigan after they threw out his $29,000 porn collection. That’s 29 THOUSAND DOLLARS worth of porn. This guy knows that it’s 2019 and that shit’s free on the internet, right?
Apparently, the man who’s being identified only as “Charlie” to protect his privacy moved back in with his parents in Michigan after a divorce (gee, I wonder why his wife left him) and was doing household chores to pay for his rent. After he moved out, he expected his parents to send him all of his belongings, but instead he realized that he was missing his 12 boxes of porn. 12 boxes of porn? Everything I own would fit into 12 boxes, and this dude has 12 boxes just for his porn collection.
Once he realized that his collection of titles like “Frisky Business” and “Big Bad Grannys” had been destroyed, Charlie called the police on his parents. And not just once – Charlie allegedly sent one officer 44 emails with movies that he said were destroyed, claiming that many of the movies were “out of print.” I guess “Big Bad Grannys” is going for a lot more on the black market these days.
After what I’m sure was a good laugh, the police decided they couldn’t help this guy (probably because he needs therapy and not the police), so now he’s suing his parents for $86,000, or three times what he claims his prized stash was worth.
Charlie’s parents claimed that they destroyed the porn for his own mental health – alleging that Charlie was kicked out of high school and college for selling porn to other students. This guy sounds like he’s always been a real winner.
Listen, I don’t judge other people’s life choices, but when you’re moving 12 boxes of porn into your parent’s house after your divorce, maybe it’s time to take a step back, look and the mirror and try and find out where you went wrong in your life.
