Aaron Lewis Releases Painfully Lonesome New Song, “The Party’s Over”

Quite the juxtaposition between music and lyric going on here.

Written solely by Aaron himself, “The Party’s Over” carries a little pep in the step, but when you tune into the words, the message painfully lonesome.

“I just get so lonely with the passing of the time / This highway just gets longer, keepin’ it between the lines / But through a glass of Tito’s, man, this world’s a sight to see / Aw, but when the party’s over there ain’t nothin’ left but me.”

Lewis has made quite a few headlines lately for some of his onstage antics, but at the end of the day, he’s an undeniably talented songwriter and storyteller. His new album State I’m In, drops next Friday, April 12th.
