Welp, that lasted long.

In the past week, Conor McGregor announced his retirement from fighting and he also announced his plans to launch Champ Champ Rosé… apparently, both were a joke. After a series of nasty tweets with rival  Khabib Nurmagomedov, including some since-deleted remarks about Khabib’s wife, and Khabib calling him a rapist, Conor has declared that he wants to “move forward,” but also that he’ll “see you in the ring.

I want to move forward, with my fans of all faiths and all backgrounds. All faiths challenge us to be our best selves. It is one world and one for all. Now see you in the Octagon.”

Who knows what’s really going on, what’s real, what isn’t… you can’t trust the UFC drama half the time anyway. Will we ever see a rematch? The fans hope so. Is this the last time Conor does or says something crazy? Definitely not. Is the rivalry squashed? Fuck no.

Stay tuned… the Conor McGregor saga lives on.
