PBR Launches Two New Beers Including The 6.5% Alcohol “PBR Extra”

Hipster water? Not anymore.

In addition to their “aged 5 seconds” clear whiskey that they are releasing, PBR has been busy in the brew house working on the launch of two new beers. One, a non-alcoholic (who cares) and the other, nearly double the alcohol in the form of a 6.5% ABV Pabst Blue Ribbon Extra.

According to a press release, PBR Extra is packed in an instantly recognizable black can and offers a light, crisp higher 6.5% ABV alternative to heavy drinking beers. It’s an upbeat, full bodied, refreshing beer brewed for the big event.

I don’t know what an upbeat beer means, but hell, I’ll take it. A kitchen with a sink and a toaster oven
