While Jaws was never that scary to me, I’ll admit, I’m not one to mess around with sharks. Thankfully, Lake Travis, just outside of Austin, Texas, doesn’t have any, but that won’t stop moviegoers from being extra freaked out this year.
Every summer for the past 5 years, The Volente Beach Resort and Beachside Billy’s have been showing special “dive-in” screenings of Jaws, but instead of watching from the comfort of your car, you’ll be floating on the lake in an inner-tube.
From June through to August, $55 will get you a ticket to the screening and your own inner tube to float while special divers tug at your feet… scaring the ever-loving shit out of you.
