Two of the best to ever do it.
Today, George Strait released his new album, Honky Tonk Time Machine, and it’s a fuckin’ beauty. There’s not a song to skip, but the last song on the album stands out for an obvious reason.
That reason is George Strait and Willie Nelson on the same song in “Sing One With Willie.” In the song, Strait reflects on his career, but ponders why he never sang one with Willie.
“You just made my career,” George sings.
Written by George Strait, Willie Nelson, Bubba Strait and Buddy Cannon, it’s everything you love about country music. Thank you George and Willie for doing this.
Signed,
Country fans everywhere.
