Barbados’ Rum Railway Is The Latest Boozy Train Ride To Put On Your Bucket List

A train on the railway tracks

I don’t know what is is, but these all-you-can-drink train rides through the heart of (insert beverage) country, have been popping up EVERYWHERE lately.

We recently showed you the “Jose Cuervo Express,” a tequila-sipping train ride and distillery tour through Mexico to the birthplace of tequila, and the “Durango Brew Train,” a craft beer enthusiast’s dream trip through the mountains of Colorado.

This latest one focuses on rum, specifically, from the beautiful island of Barbados. The St. Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway is located in the lush green countryside in the northern parish of St Peter, on the lands of the historic St Nicholas Abbey residence and rum distillery. Enjoy a scenic ride with narrated tour on the heritage steam railway culminating at Cherry Tree Hill with panoramic views over the rugged Atlantic coastline.

A rum sipping train ride through a beautiful sugar plantation that culminates in a distillery tour at a stunning Jacobian mansion and visit through historic Cherry Tree Hill neighborhood… where do I sign?

I mean, check out these photos.
