Some good old-fashioned redneck engineering right here.
On one hand, this single string banjo is pretty ridiculous, but on the other, it’s pretty neat. Just the fact that he was able to rig a fishing reel into some auto-picking contraption is enough to impress me. If we can find a way to add a few strings, we might be on to something special.
He’s no 3-string shovel guy, but hey, it’s a start.
