According to Variety, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price, Brandi Carlile and more, are expected to perform at Woodstock 50, the 50th anniversary of the original Woodstock Music Festival in 1969. The festival will also feature Jay-Z, Dead & Co., Black Keys, Chance the Rapper, and over 80 other artists performing on three stages, affectionately named the Peace Stage, Love Stage and the Music Stage.

In a statement issued on March 4, co-founder Michael Lang said: “There’s always been lots of rumors around Woodstock. We have excellent partners and an incredible talent lineup of over 80 artists which will be announced within the next couple of weeks. We’re preparing a once in a lifetime event.”

It all goes down August 16th, through the 18th, in Watkins Glen, New York. The official lineup announcement should be coming soon. Stay tuned…
