If you were up late last night, you’ve might caught Thomas’ live performance of this one on Saturday Night Live.
Featuring Little Big Town and a whole bunch of horns, “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time,” much like his new single “Look What God Gave Her,” is a funky pop song. It’s not necessarily a bad funky pop song, but Thomas Rhett continues to move further and further away from the heart of country music.
