Sam Riggs Premieres Momentous New Single, “Until My Heart Stops Beating”

See a live Sam Riggs show, and you’ll never forget it.

From honing his craft in Florida and early success in Texas, Riggs broke out as one of the most electric performers under the ever-expanding umbrella of country music. A talented multi-instrumentalist, avid adventure seeker (who has a goal of climbing the seven summits), and aviation enthusiast (with a pilot license and plane, no less), Riggs built up a loyal following on the back of his 2013 debut Outrun The Sun and 2016 follow-up Breathless.

Riggs brings a rock-infused brand of country and points to Garth Brooks, Foo Fighters, George Jones and Blink-182 among his influences.

We’re excited to be premiering Sam’s new single today, “Until My Heart Stops Beating.” Written by Riggs, Andy Sheridan, Chris Loocke, and Matt McGinn, the song brings an infectious build into a triumphant chorus.

Sam said, “‘Until My Heart Stops Beating’ might be one of the biggest bangers on the Love & Panic EP. The premise of the song came to me on a flight from Texas to Tennessee, and was actually the first song I wrote with Chris Loocke and my producer, Andy Sheridan. As soon as we sat down with it the song began to take on a life of its own, painting a vivid picture of seduction and ecstasy. The pre-chorus refrain: “Fire and Smoke Show” is one of my absolute favorite parts, and sets up this bomber chorus that you just can’t help but fall in love with.”
