Devin Dawson just released the music video for the album’s title track, Dark Horse.
In a YouTube Q&A, Devin explained the video in more detail:
Honestly it was mostly the brain child of the director Justin Clough. He wanted to highlight the parallels between an interrogation room & a recording studio. Both places people confess their stories. I loved the grit and honesty to the story & how it related to the song, & my own confession of my truth. The day we shot it was a long day, but there was magic on set the whole time. I’m so proud of the entire team and the way this video came out. Definitely the best visual project I’ve ever been a part of. Stoked for it to finally be in the world.
