About damn time.
Florida Georgia Line has been promising “their most country record yet,” and has gone so far as to even name it Can’t Say I Ain’t Country. However so far, we’ve heard “Simple,” a Mumford & Sons rip-off that’s 5 years late, and a couple bad pop songs, one of which, features R&B star Jason Derulo.
And, while “Y’all Boys” is a far cry from a Tyler Childers song, it’s much closer to the middle of the country road than the “Meant To Be” kind of shit we’re used to hearing from them. If they put out a full album of songs like this, I wouldn’t totally hate it. Hell, they should probably just go back to singing about dirt.
But if you like one song from the new record, this might be it.
