Willie Nelson Launches CBD-Infused Coffee

Text

Willie Nelson recently launched Willie’s Remedy, a line of CBD products.

The first release is Willie’s Remedy Whole Bean Coffee – which, like all of the Willie’s Remedy products, is hemp-based and available in all 50 states. Willie’s weed brand, Willie’s Reserve, launched in 2015 and will hopefully be available in every state soon. Come on, politicians. Hurry the fuck up.

“Hemp production in America was stifled for so long, but it could now make all the difference for small independent farmers,” Nelson said. “Hemp isn’t just good for our farmers and our economy, it’s good for our soil, our environment—and our health.”

After brewing, an 8 oz cup of coffee will contain 7 mg. of hemp-derived CDB from the US. The coffee is a “medium-dark blend with balanced acidity that packs a powerful aroma, with flavor notes of cherry and cocoa.”

His wife Annie Nelson is behind the coffee recipe and will run this new line. “The Willie’s Remedy line is a purposeful departure from Willie’s Reserve,” Annie said in a statement, “It’s not about getting high, but it’s still all about Willie and the benefits we believe cannabis has to offer. Willie and I are proud to offer quality, American-sourced hemp wellness options for people of his generation, our kids’ generation, and everyone in between.”

Well, start the day right.
