Whitey Morgan & The 78’s Throw Down Honky Tonk Cover Of Springsteen’s “Atlantic City”

I don’t care who you are, if you like music, you like “Atlantic City.”

Originally written and recorded by Bruce Springsteen, “Atlantic City” has been covered by just about everybody including The Band, John Anderson, Ed Sheeran and dozens of others. You can also add Whitey Morgan to that list, who performed it last week in San Diego, California.

“One of my favorite songs… I fell back in love with it a few days ago and I just decided that, you know what, we’re gonna fuckin’ play it. Imagine that, a professional band is gonna play a song that they’ve never even played on stage.”

Winging it or not, they sounded pretty damn good.
