FBI Ends Investigation On Route 91 Harvest Shooting, Basically Finds Nothing

When tragedy strikes, people naturally want answers. Mostly, why? Why did they do what they did.

Unfortunately, when it comes to Stephen Paddock, the lunatic that gunned down 58 people, and injured hundreds and hundreds more at Route 91 Harvest Festival, there really isn’t any answers.

The FBI concluded there investigation and the final report states that he acted alone, this wasn’t related to any political or religious ideology, he didn’t leave a video or note, and he planned to die by suicide. Other than pure evil and a desire to go down in history, investigators can’t point to any single motivation.

The case has been closed.

However, back in December, Route 91 did mention possibly bringing the festival back in 2019. Still in Las Vegas, but a different location.

“Route 91 Harvest here in Las Vegas is one of my kids,” says Julie Matway, COO of Country Nation, the festival division led by Live Nation’s president of country touring Brian O’Connell. “I am looking forward to how and when we are going to bring that back. We are working hard on that. Hopefully we will get it online for 2019,” said Matway to a round of applause.
