Sweet Leah Harmonizes Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up” Like Nobody’s Business

Founding members Haley Stevens and Julia Kate Snow are fresh off of 7 shows at the Steamboat Springs Musicfest and think of themselves as a “female Whiskey Myers.”

It’s not far from the truth.

Both Julia Kate and Haley were influenced by southern rock legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd and Stevie Ray Vaughan but were raised in the 90’s, when women like The Dixie Chicks, Jo Dee Messina, and Shania Twain were at the top of the country charts. Together, Sweet Leah brings a new, rowdy, female perspective to country and southern rock fans.

That being said, I think I’ll just let their music speak for itself. Their cover of Jason Isbell’s “Cover Me Up” is downright impressive.
