Turnpike Troubadours Cancel More Shows Along With Headlining Mile 0 Fest Appearance

Welp, unfortunately it’s business as usual with the Turnpike Troubadours.

When the band initially canceled their performance here in Chicago on Thursday, citing Evan Felker’s travel delays, we didn’t think too much of it. After all, it was pretty shitty here in Chicago with freezing temperatures and heavy snow.

However, when the band then canceled their show in St. Louis, their show in Indianapolis, and another make-up show here in Chicago, it became pretty clear that we’re dealing with more than just “travel delays.”

The final nail in the coffin is when the band shared on Instagram that would not be making their headlining appearance at Key West’s Mile 0 Festival

Mile O shared this update to their Facebook page:

Due to circumstances beyond Mile 0 Fest’s control The Turnpike Troubadours will not be performing this year. We, just like you, are obviously disappointed in this development, but happy to say that RC & The Ambers will still be performing their show at Cowboy Bill’s Saturday night. We still have over 60 fantastic artists on the line up and are looking forward to a stellar week of great music in paradise. We will be extending the set times of some of your favorite bands on Thursday night. We have no doubt that Thursday Night is going to rock! The whole Mile 0 Fest team will be working hard as always to bring you a one of a kind festival experience. See y’all in paradise.

Such a shame.

Stay tuned…
