Remember When Luke Combs & Tracy Lawrence Teamed Up For “If The World Had A Front Porch”

No lie, “Paint Me A Birmingham” is one of my all-time favorite country songs.

Over the weekend, I got back into Tracy Lawrence’s Good Ole Days album, which features a bunch of Tracy Lawrence hits, rerecorded with guest vocals from some of country’s biggest stars. Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, the list goes on, but the one that really got me was his duet with Luke Combs on “If The World Had A Front Porch.”

Originally released in 1995 on Tracy’s I See It Now album, “If The World Had A Front Porch” was right at the peak of Tracy’s career and hearing a rising superstar like Luke Combs sing on a track that definitely influenced his career brings the whole thing full circle.
