Drink Beer And Take In The Mountain Views Aboard The Colorado “Brew Train” This Fall

What’s better than hiking out into the Colorado wilderness? Well, for some of us less adventurous folk, how about a day-long train ride through the mountains with an endless supply of craft beer?

Enter the Durango Brew Train

You’ll hop onboard an authentic 1920’s steam locomotive that will pull a narrow gauge train through the Animas Valley, hundreds of feet above the Animas River. Once you’re on board, local craft brewers will introduce you to a sampling of their finest ales and offer up some insight behind the process required for crafting each brew. Breweries represented include Brew, Steamworks, Ska, Animas Brewing Company, and Carvers Brewing.  In addition, guest brewers from Four Peaks Brewing and Left Hand Brewing will be joining one of the rides.

Once at the Cascade Canyon Wye, deep in the wilderness of the San Juan National Forest, you’ll have two hours to drink more beer from all of the breweries, listen to excellent live music by local band, and chow down on some mouthwatering German fare.

The train only runs twice a year so get your ass on the list ASAP.

I mean, look at this thing.
