Luke Combs Singing Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” Is One Of The Best Covers Of 2018

This was one of the coolest covers of 2018.

Way back in February, Luke Combs put on a raucous set at the Ryman. A standout moment came when Luke sang Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” (written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove, originally recorded by David Allan Coe, George Jones and others).

The song is a classic that Stapleton took to new heights in modern times. Now, Combs is skyrocketing in his career and tipping his hat to a great song.

As you’d expect, the crowd went nuts. Cheers to 2019.
