Hey US News & World Report, I think Ohio State just jumped immediately to the #1 school in the country.

According to 10TV, Ohio State University just got a bacon machine on campus, yeah, a BACON MACHINE. Located in the Animal Science Building At the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, will supply students with ready to eat bacon for $1 until December 13.

“The Bacon Vending Machine is a unique and fun way for the Ohio Pork Council to support Ohio State students and promote the pork industry at the same time,” said President-Elect Dave Shoup, Ohio Pork Council.

“The meat science program is excited to partner with the Ohio Pork Council through the Bacon Vending Machine project,” said Lyda G. Garcia, assistant professor of meat science in the Department of Animal Sciences.

Meat Science Program? I could’ve gone my entire life without knowing you could major in meat science, or that there was even a program for it. I’d be embarrassed to ask. With a top-notch football program, George Strait concerts, apparently a killer meat science program, and now bacon vending machines, get those applications in people.
