New Study Says The More Concerts You Go To, The Happier You’ll Be, The Longer You’ll Live

This is the kind of research I like.

According to a study conducted by O2 and Goldsmith’s University Associate Lecturer Patrick Fagan, an expert in behavioral science, 20 minutes at a concert “can lead to a 21 percent increase in [a] feeling of well-being.”

As a comparison, the report said yoga increased well-being by 10 percent.

“Additional scholarly research directly links high levels of well-being with a lifespan increase of nine years pointing to a direct link between gig-going and longevity,” the report states.

I know what a lot of y’all are thinking – we’re going to live forever.

People that went to a show twice a month were more likely to experience “happiness, contentment, productivity and self-esteem at the highest level.”

Look, I don’t know how accurate this is, but I’ll take happily take it. Cheers to the next country show and a long, healthy life. I need a beer.
