HARDY Nods To The 90’s With Acoustic Performance Of “Throwback”

I’m a big fan of HARDY’s debut EP, This Ole Boy.

A prime example? His song “Throwback,” which he co-wrote with Rodney Clawson, Corey Crowder, and Jordan Schmidt.

“Throwback, like a fish that ain’t a keeper / Like a not a home team home run in the bleachers.”

90’s country music has been getting a lot of attention in current country songs, and rightfully so, as many of us grew up through one of the best decades of country music. Hardy pays tribute to the decade in reference to more than just the songs, but that way of life we’re all trying to get back to.

“In the bars we play a little Don’t Rock the Jukebox / On the jukebox and moonwalk and boot stomp in throwback kicks.”

Take a trip down memory lane with Hardy’s acoustic performance of “Throwback.”
