If you’ve seen the latest Peloton commercial, you may have recognized the voice singing Queen’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.”
Yep, that’s Brett Eldredge.
We lost Freddie Mercury 27 years ago today but his music still lives on…No one can do this song like him, but I just recorded it for a @onepeloton commercial and it’s stuck in my head…thanks for your gift Freddie pic.twitter.com/URg4HjmoSv
Written by Freddie in 1979, and included on their 1980 album The Game, the hit was originally recorded as a tribute to Elvis Presley and has most notably been covered by Dwight Yoakam, and now Brett Eldredge.
It’s hard to do an entertainer like Freddie Mercury any justice, but damn if Brett Eldredge didn’t nail it. He can do Sinatra, he can do Queen, he can do it all.
Whiskey Riff is the most entertaining country site…ever.
