New Nashville Hotel Will Replace Front Desk With Bar & Free Drinks Instead

A building with neon lights

The world could use more hotels like this.

According to The Tennessean, a hotel coming on Lower Broadway is ditching the front desk for a bar. Instead of walking in to be checked in by a typical front desk worker, guests will walk in to be greeted by a bartender with a free drink ready for them to get the party started.

The Moxy-branded Marriott hotel will include not only the check-in bar but also a rooftop bar, two restaurants on lower levels, and 168 rooms. Not to mention, the hotel is located in a prime location for anyone trying to get their honky tonk on in the city. Sounds like a good set-up.

“Where’s the one place people aren’t drinking in Nashville?”

“Ummm… when they’re having an adult conversation with the hotel concierge at check in.”

“Ok, how can we fix that, so they’re literally drunk every second of the day?”

Coming soon…
