Cody Jinks and Jamey Johnson Honor Randy Travis Heartfelt Intro & Medley

“Man, when I first started playing in the bars down in South Alabama you couldn’t even bring a guitar out of the case without doin’ a Randy Travis song.”

You got to love the sincere appreciation Jamey has for Randy Travis and really all of his country music heroes.

It’s difficult to see, but it appears as though Randy is at this show by the absolute roar of the crowd when Jamey introduces him. Jamey then introduces fellow country music badass Cody Jinks for a cover of Randy’s “1982” and “Diggin’ Up Bones,” followed by a solo rendition of “The Yellow Rose In Texas.”

Country music at its finest.
