Music Is Healing: Montgomery Gentry Release New Song “Better Me”

One day before Troy Gentry’s public memorial service, SiriusXM’s The Highway played a new song from Montgomery Gentry titled “Better Me” with Troy singing on it. Montgomery Gentry has been finishing up a new album and felt it would be a good time to share this song and help the healing process. This morning, The Highway shared this on Instagram:

This morning we are celebrating the life of our dear friend and brother, Troy Gentry. We are proud to bring you the brand new song “Better Me” by Montgomery Gentry. Music truly is life’s best medicine. For those asking, it will be available this Friday. – Storme Warren

For those that thought they would never hear a new song from Troy, think again.

“I’ve turned the page on wilder days / I’m writing all this down / Hopin’ you’ll see / I ain’t sayin’ I’m perfect, But i’m workin’ on a better me,” sings Gentry.
