The Dixie Chicks Prove They’re Still “Not Ready To Make Nice” In Badass Live Performance

The Dixie Chicks have always been the kind of girls that ruffle some feathers and aren’t afraid to kick the dust up on society every once in a while. That ran them into some trouble back in the day when the gals took a strong stand against then President George W. Bush, who also hailed from the great state of Texas.

Country fans didn’t appreciated their viewpoint, especially post 9/11, and turned against the girl group they once loved. They say time can heal just about anything and in this case, its been mostly true. Slowly but surely, the Dixie Chicks were welcomed back into the country world and have since made nice with old and new admirers.

Back in 2006, feelings were still pretty tense between the trio and their former fan base, so they responded in the way they respond best: music. The girls released, “Not Ready To Make Nice” and the rest is history. They may have since tied up all their loose ends, but that doesn’t mean they can’t still rock this song on stage.

Whiskey Riff is the most entertaining country site…ever.
