Billy Ray Cyrus Joined The Naked Cowboy And Performed In NYC Times Square

Well, this isn’t something you see everyday.

I was casually scrolling through Facebook when I see probably the oddest thing I’ve seen in a hot minute: Billy Ray Cyrus dressed as Elvis performing in NYC Times Square with the Naked Cowboy, Times Square’s most famous performer.

Cyrus was in New York City on Monday (July 10) to promote his CMT TV show Still the King and I guess this is one way to get people’s attention; It sure got mine.

The duo sang Presley’s “Hound Dog” and Cyrus’ “I Want My Mullet Back.” You may be confused on the Elvis reference. Well, let me fill you in.

Cyrus’ new show Still the King is about a one-hit wonder-turned-Elvis impersonator named Burnin’ Vernon and the rest you’ll have to figure out by watching.

Alright, now for the real reason you’re here. Here’s Billy Ray Cyrus and the Naked Cowboy performing in Times Square together…

Burnin' Vernon learning from the best with The Naked Cowboy in NYC Times Square! Just a taste of what's to come Tuesday at 10/9c on CMT's #StillTheKing!
