Want to be a kid again but still like getting drunk?
Boozy popsicles or “poptails” will do the trick.
They’re fun, super easy to make and most likely will make you the coolest group of drunks by the pool. If the idea of a bourbon peach popsicle doesn’t sound awesome to you, you probably are one of those people that actually waits 20 mintues after eating before going into the pool. Don’t be that guy, have a popsicle.
Here’s what to do:
4 cups chopped white peaches or regular peaches (cover photo)
2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup honey
3 1/2 Tbsp. Knob Creek Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Peel peaches and cut into chunks discarding the pits. Place peaches into a blender. Add the fresh lemon juice, honey and bourbon and puree leaving a few chunks.
Pour the mixture into the popsicles molds. Freeze for 30 minutes, then insert sticks. Continue to freeze until firm, at least 5-6 hours.
To unmold, run hot water over the outside of the popsicle molds for a few seconds then gently remove.
Time: 15 minutes plus about 5-6 hours freezing time
