Ashley McBryde Is A Straight Country Powerhouse You Need To Meet

Kickin’ ass and takin’ names.

Ashley McBryde is one of those female artists that you look at her and think “damn she’s cool”. Then you listen to her music and hear how good she is vocally and how good her music is lyrically. So far in 2017 she’s opened for the likes of The Brothers Osborne, Wynonna, Eric Paslay, Frank Foster, and Randy Houser. In the past she’s opened for Jon Pardi, Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, and more. Ashley also just played one of the coolest festivals of the year, Tortuga, this past weekend.

There’s a song for every mood on her EP Jalopies and Expensive Guitars (pick it up iTunes here). “Better on the Water” is your perfect summer theme song while “Bible and a .44” pulls at the heartstrings if you can relate to losing a loved one, especially a dad. It’s super hard to pick a favorite so you just need to buy the whole damn thing. I’m a big fan of this girl. I love her style because she doesn’t distract from her music with over the top outfits or “stage clothes”. Her cool band tee, jeans and boots is way more my style than a lot of these outfits you see on women of country nowadays. It feels way more real and down to earth. She also seems like an artist who’d totally be down to play a show and then take shots at the bar afterwards with you. Make sure to give Ashley a follow on all social media at @AshleyMcBryde.

Check out two songs from her EP below.
