For Eric Church, the show must go one. No snowstorm is going to change that…
This past weekend in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the snow came hard and heavy. Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome would not of been able to handle Church’s usual stage setup, so it was time to improvise. The venue’s roof, which is shaped like a a saddle, made the setup simply to risky. But Eric wanted no part of canceling the show, so he gave the sold out crowd something really special.
He gave them a mostly acoustic 3+ hour set. No bullshit. All music. All substance. This is something very few, if any, country acts could pull off. This guy can, and did. Leaving the fans with a rare memorable experience they will never forget.
Whiskey Riff is the most entertaining country site…ever.
