Watch Chase Bryant’s Brilliant Cover Of “Better Man” From The Guy’s Point Of View

Wow.

When Chase first told me about his idea to cover this song, but to write it from the man’s perspective (and featuring Runaway June) I couldn’t wait to hear the outcome. Often times we tend to vilify the antagonist male in these heartbreak songs, but Chase lets you see the other side of the story. The remorse, the regret, and ultimately the heartache that the guy feels because he wasn’t a better man. It’s brilliant.
