This might be the sexiest voice you’ve never heard on the country music scene right now.
Gyth Rigdon doesn’t hit a false note in his debut album, and his single “Body Language” is the kind of song that can make country music fans pay attention.
A Louisiana native, the 22 year-old says he was inspired to start singing by his dad. Growing up, Gyth worked on a race horse farm and turned to music as a way to relax and unwind. He knew music was both his first love and his dream, so he made the leap and moved to Nashville straight out of high school. He’s opened for Gary Allen, Jake Owen, and more, finally releasing his debut album in August 2016, writing or cowriting four out of seven tracks on the album. From the sultry “Body Language” to the sweet “We Ain’t Missin Nothin” to the outlaw-inspired “My Soul,” his first album has impressive range, delivered in a voice with staying power.
The singer lists Conway Twitty, Shenandoah, and Chris Stapleton as a few of his musical inspirations. With a humble demeanor, a soulful voice, and a wealth of talent, Gyth could be a singer to watch. Check out his title track and see if you agree.
