Broken Heart? Miranda Lambert’s “Use My Heart” Will Move Mountains For You

“I don’t have the nerve to use my heart.”

God only knows how many times you’re going to deal with heartbreak. Whether it be your own, a friend’s, or maybe your brother/sister, you’re going to have to deal with it at some point.

I just had a friend go through a heartbreak and there was nothing I could say to make her pain go away. As she sat there crying, she said something that really stuck out to me. “I don’t have anymore room for hurt.” It made my heart hurt for her. If I could go back in time, I would sit her down and have her listen to Miranda Lambert’s “Use My Heart.”

“That thought of loving you just makes me sick. I don’t have the nerve to use my heart.”

A song about being done with it all. I hear you loud and clear Miranda, and I know those other people going through heartbreak will give you an “AMEN” too.  The heartbreak and the hurting gets tiring after awhile, and you should know you don’t have to put up with it.
