Brett Eldredge’s “Wanna Be That Song” Will Help You Figure Out If He’s The One Or Not. Here’s How.

Brett Eldredge’s “Wanna Be That Song” stole just about every girl’s heart.

For me, it made me really think into the lyrics and the message of the song. As an avid music junkie, my speakers are never turned off. I am constantly listening and learning about new songs and artists. Music really does make the world go round. When I heard this Brett Eldredge song,  I fell in love with the concept that I took away from it. Here’s what I learned and how I interpreted this song personally…

A person holding a trophy

Think about your favorite song. I’m not talking about your favorite song this week, I’m referring to your favorite song throughout your entire life.

The one that you could hear every day 5 times a day and still not be sick of. But also the one that maybe you didn’t hear for a few months yet the second that sound comes back through your speaker it’s like you found yourself again. Kind of like you figured out where you belong.

Think of the song that makes you want to dance around the room singing at the top of your lungs but also makes you shed a tear because you love it so much.

It’s the song that you want to listen to when you’re happy and the song you want to hear to pick you up when you’re sad.

This song takes you back to the first time you heard it and the time you fell in love with it.

It’s the song that can make any moment better almost as if time just stops when you hear it.

This is your go-to song for that backroad cruise you take every time you feel lost.

It’s a song that will never let you forget where you came from, who you are, and what you value.

When you don’t know where to go next, this song is there for you amidst your confusion.

A person holding a trophy

Now picture the man you want to spend your life with. For me, he’s got a lot of the same qualities as my life song. I know that sounds kind of weird but stay with me…

Just like your favorite song, you want your future husband to stand by your side for your entire life, not just a few months.

You want him to be someone that you can stand to be around and not get sick of. He’s someone who knows you better than you know yourself. Being with him reminds you that you are right where you belong.

Your man should be someone that you get butterflies from, who makes every moment with you count. He could be the worst dancer in the world but he’s up spinning you around just to see you smile. Every day you thank God for him and feel overwhelmed to have someone like him in your life.

When you’re happy he’s there to celebrate with you but also through your low points in life he’s your shoulder to cry on and support to get you back up.

When you’re with him your mind flashes back to the first time you met and the moment you fell in love with him. You’ll never forget how he made you feel at those times, just like your life song.

Just like your song, your man can make almost any moment better. It’ll feel as if time stops when he’s around.

He’s your go-to guy for anything. A drive down the back road, your favorite concert buddy, a trip to the islands, etc. It could be anything and he’s the perfect person to take along.

If he really cares about you not only for your looks but for your heart then he won’t let you ever stray from who you really are. He’ll never let you forget where you came from, who you are, and what you value.

When you don’t know where to go next or what to do he’s there for you amidst all that confusion.

With all of that said, and through my personal dissection of how I interpreted the lyrics, Brett Eldredge‘s song easily is one of my favorites. So ladies, when “the one” comes along, make sure he’s as worthy to be your husband as your song was to become your song.
