RaeLynn’s “Insecure” Is A Jam With A Plot Twist About True Love

She ain’t worth it.

RaeLynn has definitely come a long way since we first met her on The Voice. She is currently building anticipation for her debut full length album by releasing songs early when you pre-order on iTunes (here). One of those songs is “Insecure”.

Based on the title of the song I anticipated it to be about body image issues or self esteem, something along those lines. Nope, it’s about being with a guy and plot twist, he loves her. The angle is that another girl KNOWS that girl is with said guy, tries to get him anyways, and he stays loyal. We don’t hear songs about that too often. The lyrics of this song are just so damn spot on. You’ve either been through this yourself or have had a friend go through it. I can’t wait to have the chance to see RaeLynn live and hope this one is on her set list because my girls and I would be singin’ at the top of our lungs.

We’re expecting this album to blow up for RaeLynn. The songs that are already available are smashes. WildHorse is expected to released December 2nd. Give “Insecure” a listen below.
