Jason Aldean Raises $3.3 Million For Breast Cancer Awareness During Opry Goes Pink

Hell Yeah. #SaveTheBoobies

Last night was filled with some incredible performances and some incredibly big hearts as some of our favorite country stars joined together to raise money for breast cancer awareness. Jason Aldean had the honor of flipping the pink switch that turned The Grand Ole Opry pink during the annual Opry Goes Pink event, which partnered with his 11th annual Concert for the Cure this year to raise money for a cause dear to so many people, including the performers.

The night included standout performances from Jason, Hillary Scott & The Scott Family, Montgomery Gentry, Jeannie Seely, Mickey Guyton and Chris Young who even brought out Cassadee Pope as a surprise guest for their hit duet “Think of You.”

Along with an incredible performance of some of his classics, Jason presented a check to the Susan G. Komen foundation with funds raised during his 2016 Six String Circuse Tour for a whopping $3.3 million. Not to mention, The Opry donated five dollars from every ticket sold last night to Women Rock for the Cure.

“I’m lucky to be surrounded by a lot of amazing women in my family, management and publicity team,” said Chris Young. “It means a lot to me to be part of Opry Goes Pink and Women Rock for the Cure in support of the fight against breast cancer.”

Jason added “What better place to do this than at the Opry?” True.
