I just stumbled upon this in the usual course of business and although I know it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, something about it just works. You won’t hear on any country stations, but it undeniably has major country and blues in it’s production and influence. Either way, the hopelessness and depravity of the author’s struggle with alcohol is extremely compelling.
If nothing else, it’s dark and artistic…. and I kind of dig it.
