I love when the island vibe meets country music (ie some of Zac Brown Band’s stuff). Well, there’s a new girl to know and her name is Emily Zeck. She has been described as “a female Jack Johnson” with perfect blends of ukulele, acoustic guitar, and reggae. Emily has made a name for herself on Instagram as “That Pineapple Girl where fans were immediately attracted to beauty, playfulness, authenticity and positive message.”
Emily was discovered in early 2015 by Chuck Adams (formerly the artist named “Range” known for his days with Jay Z’s Roc Nation) encouraging her to post more music which resulted in her being named one of the Top 10 cover singers to follow on Instagram by People.com and her first single, “Pacific Blue,” reaching over 1 million plays on Spotify.
Emily has spent the last six months filming music videos in California and NYC, taking meetings with movie and TV executives in Hollywood, opening for country superstar Kane Brown in Panama City Beach for spring break, and being invited onstage by friends (and fans), Cody Simpson and Donavan Frankenreiter. She plans to relocate this summer to L.A. to continue her musical journey, exploring electronic music while maintaining the organic beach vibe. She is also planning on traveling the world this upcoming year filming music videos, travel vlogs, and soaking up the all the sun, surf and sand she can find.
