Attendees take a selfie photograph with the Chick-fil-A mascot during an event ahead of the grand opening for the restaurant in New York, U.S., on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015. Chick-fil-A, the Southern chicken-sandwich chain that has drawn both controversy and copycats over the years, has finally arrived in New York. The company will open a 5,000-square-foot (465-square-meter), three-level restaurant in Manhattan's Garment District that will be the chain's largest location in the nation. Chick-Fil-A is holding its 12th annual Cow Appreciation Day today – more info here.
Yes. you do have to dress up like a cow. But through 7 p.m., if you go to your local Chick-Fil-A wearing anything cow-like, you’ll score a free entree. Look, I saw a group of 20-somethings yesterday dressed up as Harry Potter characters playing with sticks by the beach. If they can do that, you can dress like a cow for some free Chick-fil-A.
Guests will be able to pick from a breakfast, lunch or dinner entree and kids can choose a kid’s meal.
