What matters most at a country festival? That’s easy. The music.

What matters second most? The food. What festival brings these two together better than any other? Windy City Smokeout – taking place July 15-17 right where we’re headquartered, Chicago.  At the end of this post you’ll see how we’re gonna save you a bunch of money on weekend passes…

Look, I get it. When you get sloshed at your typical country fest eating a 12-day-old hot dog will probably be satisfying. But, just imagine instead of that hot dog, you’re eating the best BBQ this beautiful country has to offer. I’m serious about the BEST. This year’s lineup of BBQ badasses includes The Salt Lick, Pappy’s, Myron Mixon, Smoque, and many, many more. Basically, any BBQ joint worth a damn is here. For the full list, click right here.

Now, the music. Windy City Smokeout has continued to grow the last few years, upping the ante with some serious talent every day of the festival. This year is no different. Chase Rice, Old Dominion, Billy Currington, Maren Morris, Ryan Hurd, and Whiskey Myers are just a handful of the many great acts taking the stage. For the full lineup, click here.

There’s really no better way to cut loose for a summer weekend. Killer country music, and the best BBQ known to man. Oh, and beer. Did I mention beer? There will be a lot of it. And the good stuff. Oh, and whiskey, of course.

There will be a Jack Daniel’s Family tasting on Saturday AND Sunday. You can add the tasting to your ticket purchase as an “add-on.”
