8. Is this the year Blake is dethroned?

Blake is the 5-time reigning Male Vocalist of the Year, but with stiff competition from Dierks, Luke, Church and the vocal monster that is Chris Stapleton, I think this might finally be the year we see Blake fall.

7. Keith Urban Performs With John Mellencamp.

With Mellencamp being the namesake from Keith’s smash single, it’s going to be a pretty special moment when they take the stage together. I also love pretty much anytime Keith peforms.

6. New Artist of the Year.

The competition between Kelsea Ballerini, Sam Hunt, Maddie & Tae, Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton is going to be intense. I really have no idea who will take this award.

5. Fall Out Boy joins Thomas Rhett

When I was in junior high, Fall Out Boy was a local Chicago punk band. Now they are superstars and I’m kind of excited to see what they can cook up with Thomas Rhett. It’s going to be weird, but I just might like it.

4. Hank Williams Jr. performs with Eric Church

Two legends. Enough said.

3. Brad & Carrie hosting again.

These two are a match made in heaven with their jokes and hilarious parodies. Nobody is safe.

2. Entertainer Of The Year Award

This category is stacked as well. Between Garth, Luke & Kenny, there is some serious firepower there. Will Luke repeat? Something tells me he might.

1. Chris Stapleton to perform with Justin Timberlake

You heard that right. Stapleton & Timberlake are performing together and I cannot wait to see that. They better have roof insurance there, because that duo is about to blow it off.

Whiskey Riff is the most entertaining country site…ever.
