The Cubs’ Jon Lester Drives One Mean-Looking, Bad*ss, Ford Truck

Chicago sports are as exciting as ever right now. The White Sox look like they’re going to contend, Derrick Rose is returning to a Bulls team heading into the playoffs, the Blackhawks are contending for another Stanley Cup, and Sporting News predicted the Cubs would win the World Series (yeah, I know).

Aside from the numerous incredible prospects the Cubs have piled up, signing Jon Lester this past offseason is a major reason fans are excited about the Northsiders.

Back in December, Lester signed a six-year, $155 million deal with Chicago, rejoining his old Boston pal Theo Epstein. The season finally opened this past Sunday, and Lester started by lasting only 4.1 innings while allowing eight hits and three earned runs. It definitely wasn’t his best outing, but enough about baseball. Let’s focus on his truck.

Pro Motorsports recently posted a few photos of Lester’s custom Ford F-250 Super Duty King Ranch. It’s been fitted with new rims and tires, Rigid Industries LED lighting, a heavy duty off-road winch bumper with brush guard, and a matte black exterior.

If you weren’t aware, Lester is an outdoors enthusiast and loves hunting everything from ducks to bucks, so this beast should be perfect.
